When blackjack shows up and kills the vibe

Today, I played poker for about four hours. I started with $200 and ended up with $1000, cashing out $800. I kept $200 to play blackjack on my way out. Unfortunately, I lost six hands in a row and $600. So, instead of being up $800, I only doubled my initial buy-in. I don't even like blackjack, but it's not the first time I've lost poker winnings on it. I might need to make a rule to never play blackjack again. Is this common for you too?

If you're setting aside $200 as your limit, stick to that stop loss like glue. Since you didn't manage that tonight, it's probably best to steer clear for now and let tonight serve as a not-so-gentle reminder. Think of it as your personal poker horror story!

Ah, welcome to the thrilling world of gambling addiction! You've officially joined the ranks of the degenerates. It's like being in an exclusive club, but with more losses and fewer perks. So, grab your seat at the table and let the games begin!

lol It's like dipping your toe into a vast ocean of gambling habits. Trust me, addiction can turn into a raging tsunami that wreaks havoc on lives. So let's say this case is a very light form of addiction :sneaky:

Hey, seems like someone's ready to host their own comedy show in Las Vegas 😉

It’s clear that you haven’t come across someone with a gambling addiction. Earning $1000 at poker, losing a portion of it, yet still leaving with a profit, doesn’t constitute a gambling addiction. Resorting to unsavory acts under the Queensboro Bridge to earn $10 per person to fund a Keno habit, now that’s addiction.
